MISSION STATEMENT
The museum is committed to sharing with the public the joys of skiing and other winter sports. We seek their support and encouragement in expanding programs which preserve their history and heritage.
Our Hall of Fame identifies those individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth of winter sports. We honor them in special ceremonies and record their accomplishments in our permanent exhibits.
MUSEUM
Located in the base lodge of Camelback Ski Area, the museum exhibits historic photos, biographies, equipment and memorabilia from yesteryear. Additional exhibits are located at Ski Liberty Resort. The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, American Association of Museums and the USSA are just a few of the organizations that collaborate with the Pennsylvania Ski and Winter Sports Museum to preserve and promote the history and rich culture of winter sports.
HALL OF FAME
Nearly 50 pioneers and contributors have been inducted into the Pennsylvania Ski and Winter Sports Hall of Fame since its inception in 2002. The Hall honors those current or native born residents who have been actively engaged in winter sports and have made significant contributions at the state, national, or international level.
